Course Areas: Intellectual Property and Information Law

Course Outline: A practice-oriented approach to the main intellectual property law issues encountered in general and specialized law practice. Trade secret, copyright, trademark, and patent segments will each involve an introductory PowerPoint explanation, followed by case materials and sets of practical fact-pattern problems to be solved for that segment. Experienced practitioners may be invited to address the class as guest lecturers on some occasions.

Course Notes: Technical background is not necessary for a thorough understanding of the subject matter of this course.
