Course Outline: This is the introductory course in torts. The topics covered include negligence, intentional harm, strict liability, products liability and economic harm.

Course Notes: Please note that laptops are not permitted in this course, for reasons the instructor will explain on the first day of class.
Prerequisites: None.
First Day Assignments: For the first week of class, please read, in Prosser, Wade & Schwartz ("PW&S") (12th ed. 2010), all of Chapter 1 and the first section, on Intent, in Chapter 2. We will, unfortunately, have to deal with a number of administrative matters as well, but mostly we’re to the fun stuff you came to law school to enjoy. I look forward to meeting you!
