Course Outline: This course will survey the federal tax laws as they apply to corporations (so-called "C" and "S" corporations) and their shareholders and to partnerships and partners. The course is designed for J.D. students interested in tax and who don't plan to take additional tax courses while in the J.D. program or for future corporate/ business transaction lawyers who want a well-grounded introduction to business entity taxation.
