Finding Your Summer Fellowship Placement

Students are responsible to identify, contact, apply, and arrange their fellowship with a sponsoring organization. Several students know where they want to spend their summer. For others it is daunting to think about finding your own placement. Keep in mind about 90 UHLC students secure a government or non-profit organization for fellowships and academic externships every year. Most of these students did not have prior contacts in the legal public interest community. Although this task takes considerable student initiative, we have resources to help.
