1L Orientation and Mentoring

Mentoring and New Student Orientation Mentoring is an important program that unites 1L’s with upperclassmen and the administration. Each spring, students are selected by the SBA to serve as mentors for the incoming 1L class. The mentors work together to plan events, offer advice, and guide new students during the notorious first-year of law school. The mentoring program in integral to the administration of SBA because it provides an opportunity for students of all classes and sections to communicate with each other and SBA about concerns, complaints, issues, and ideas.

Locker Rental

Students wishing to have a little more storage space on campus can rent a locker each school year. Rental rates are $10 per year ($5 per semester) for SBA members and $20 per year ($10 per semester) for non-SBA members. Lockers are located on the ground floor of TUII near the law school clinics, and on the second floor of TUII across from the classrooms. Any locker with an “AVAILABLE” label can be rented. Fill out a rental form, place the available label on the form, and drop the form with your payment in the SBA Drop Box located in the bank of lockers at the end of the computer lab hallway. You may also drop your rental form off in Bookswap during business hours.
