The Human Rights Campaign is America’s largest civil rights organization working to achieve gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. By inspiring and engaging all Americans, HRC strives to end discrimination against GLBT citizens and realize a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
HRC seeks to improve the lives of GLBT Americans by advocating for equal rights and benefits in the workplace, ensuring families are treated equally under the law and increasing public support among all Americans through innovative advocacy, education and outreach programs. HRC works to secure equal rights for GLBT individuals and families at the federal and state levels by lobbying elected officials, mobilizing grassroots supporters, educating Americans, investing strategically to elect fair-minded officials and partnering with other GLBT organizations.

Leslie Feinberg
Leslie Feinberg is a long-time activist and an award-winning author. Hir works include "Stone Butch Blues," "Transgender Warriors: Making History from Joan of Arc to Dennis Rodman" and "Trans Liberation: Beyond Pink or Blue."
Feinberg is a political journalist and a managing editor
of Workers World newspaper. Ze is a national steering
committee member of the LGBT Caucus of the National
Writers Union, UAW Local 1981; a member of Pride At Work,
AFL-CIO; and an associate member of the Steelworkers
Union. Feinberg is a founder of Rainbow Flags for Mumia
and a national organizer for the International Action
Center.
The Victory Fund
Since 1991, The Gay & Lesbian Victory fund and Leadership Institute has helped hundreds of openly LGBT candidates win election to local, state and federal offices. Through world-class programs and nonpartisan training, we also provide these new leaders with the skills and contacts they need to make the most of their influence and access.
The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund provides strategic, technical and financial support to openly LGBT candidates and officials. It is the only national organization committed to increasing the number of openly LGBT public officials at all levels of government. Victory Fund support is acknowledged as the determinative factor in the successful election or appointment of endorsed LGBT candidates. The Victory Fund is the nation’s largest LGBT political action committee and one of the nation’s largest non-connected PACs.
