UHLC grad and former regent Nelda Blair named to state economic post

Nelda BlairMarch 18, 2014 -- Nelda Luce Blair, a former University of Houston System regent and 1982 graduate of the Law Center, has been appointed by Gov. Rick Perry to the Texas Economic Development Corp.

The corporation supports programs and activities of the governor's office Division of Economic Development and Tourism, in addition to TexasOne, which markets Texas competitively and dynamically to businesses outside the state's borders.

Blair is president and owner of the Blair Law Firm PC in the Woodlands. She is a member of the Greater Houston Partnership, The Woodlands Economic Development Partnership, Texas Conference for Women Advisory Board, and Lone Star College System Chancellor’s Advisory Council.
