March 4, 2014 – University of Houston Law Center students traded jeans and sweatshirts for business suits recently as they interviewed with representatives of small and midsize law firms, hoping to land a clerkship or associate position after graduation. About 35 firms with 50 or fewer attorneys attended the Open House in Krost Hall on Feb. 28. They collected resumes and explained to job hopefuls the opportunities and challenges of working for a smaller firm.
