Perry names UHLC student to Board of Regents

Benjamin Wells becomes 5th Law Center regent since program began in ’06.

May 7, 2013 – Gov. Rick Perry today appointed University of Houston Law Center student Benjamin Wells to serve as the student representative to the UH System Board of Regents. Wells is the fifth Law Center student to serve a one-year term on the board since Perry instituted student regents in 2006. Wells holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Southern Methodist University.
