March 19, 2013 - A book review from the academic journal Review of Higher Education was included by Daniel M. Kowalski, editor-in-chief, in Bender's Immigration Bulletin, published by LexisNexis; the review examined University of Houston Law Professor Michael A. Olivas’ recent publication No Undocumented Child Left Behind: Plyler v. Doe and the Education of Undocumented Schoolchildren. In the book, Olivas examines the more than 30-year history of a landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling that made it possible for undocumented children to enroll in Texas public schools.
