Feb. 21, 2013 – The Energy & Environment Law Society and the Federalist Society at the University of Houston Law Center will sponsor a lunch session on "Examining the Science of Climate Change: Are Man-Made Greenhouse Gas Emissions the Cause?"
The discussion will feature dual presentations by Dr. John Nielsen-Gammon, state climatologist for Texas and regents professor at Texas A&M University Department of Atmospheric Sciences, and Dr. Willie Soon, astrophysicist and geoscientist at the Solar, Stellar and Planetary Sciences Division of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
The session will be held Feb. 28 from noon to 12:50 p.m. in room 240 BLB at the Law Center. The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided for the first 45 attendees.
