Jan. 14, 2012 – The University of Houston Law Center's admission brochure and website won silver and bronze honors, respectively, in the 2012 Collegiate Advertising Awards. The Law Center competed among graduate schools from across the country.

"In terms of design, both the University of Houston Law Center main brochure and website integrate the use of grids to convey a modern look and feel which is what we are striving for being located in the nation's fourth largest city," said Carrie Criado, executive director of communications and marketing for the law school.

The admission brochure was recognized in the brochure/multiple pages category. The Law Center communications department, including Jessica Franklin and John Kling, worked with Coobo Media on the design of the materials with input from Assistant Dean for Admissions Jamie West Dillon and Associate Director for Admissions Nathan Neely.

The Law Center restructured its website in October which lead to its recognition in the website design category. Assistant Dean for Information Technology Scott Smith and Web Developers Ruth McCleskey and Baroness Adams assisted with the implementation of the new website.
