“Less stress, more fun”

Law Center community takes break from the books for fun in the sun

March 8, 2012 – The goal of the University of Houston Law Center’s “Student Family Activity Day” was to foster good-will within the student body, nurture friendships among classmates and establish ties for the future, and simply show appreciation to students for all their hard work. But the real reason was to have fun on a bright and sunny Saturday – fun for the students, faculty, and kids of all ages.

The March 3 event was a rousing success with games, face painting, kite flying, contests of all sorts, prizes, food, and loud music. It had been 12 years since a similar event had been held at the Law Center, but considering the rave reviews, it’s a fairly safe bet it might turn into an annual event.
