Supremes hear Immigration Clinic case

Clinical Associate Professor Geoffrey A. Hoffman and three Law Center Immigration Clinic students took a deportation case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court – and now remain “cautiously optimistic” about the outcome.  Hoffman served as co-counsel with Sri Srinivasan of the Washington, D.C., firm of O’Melveny & Myers LLP , who presented the oral argument .   Law Center students who researched the merits brief for Carachuri-Rosendo v. Holder included  (from left) Magda Gonzalez, Charlotte Simon, and Andrea Boulares, all 2Ls.
