It’s impossible to host a golf tournament in Houston without skirting the raindrops – as The Advocates of the Law Center confirmed when they renewed traditions by hosting the 16th Annual Advocates Golf Classic.   The winning team included third-year students Scott Woloson and Bob Gilbert, with Karl Kirkpatrick and Robert Boughton completing the foursome.  Second-year student Daniel Wilson took “Closest-to-the-Pin” honors, and third-year student Nick Grimmer wielded the best putter.  Participation definitely trumped the precipitation, and proceeds from the tournament will help finance future Advocates competitions at the Law Center.
