Dec. 13, 2012 – Students, faculty, and staff opened up their hearts and wallets for the Center for Consumer Law's annual Toy Drive & Raffle, contributing a total of $4,078 to ensure needy children have a happy holiday. Associate Dean Richard Alderman, director of the consumer law center, presented checks to Diana Pena-Betancur of the Children's Assessment Center, left, and D'Andrea Alexander of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church who will coordinate distribution of toys.
First year Section B will enjoy a welcome back party in January as winners of a friendly competition to see which group of 1Ls had the most holiday spirit.
