Dec. 1, 2011 – The breezeway between the Hendricks Heritage Room and the Frankel Room has been turned into a bright and comfortable, open-air student lounge in honor of Philip Donisi, a 1962 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. The Philip Donisi Study Lounge is colorfully decorated in tones of gray, black, and Cougar red with ceiling fans, new light fixtures, comfortable chairs and plenty of electrical outlets for laptops. Large windows along the west wall pivot to let in breezes and keep out the rain. As part of the new look on the exterior, bright red signage with the letters UHLC clearly define the entrance to the Law Center.
