FLLM student wins scholarship to help his people

John Darko, LL.M. student from Ghana, impressed judges with his personal reasons for coming to the Law Center in winning one of the first-ever $5,000 scholarships from the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.  Prof. Jacqueline Weaver reports that the  AIPN Education Committee members noted Darko’s expressed desire “to learn more about how Ghana can avoid the resource curse and use its newly found oil wealth to benefit its people.”
