DeGuerin brings courthouse expertise to Law Center
Famed criminal defense attorney Dick DeGuerin will speak at the Law Center on Tuesday, Nov. 10, as part of the Blakely Advocacy Institute’s Trial Lawyer’s Craft Speaker Series. DeGuerin has represented a wide range of defendants from politicians Kay Bailey Hutchison and Tom DeLay to Branch Davidian leader David Koresh and accused swindler (now sir-less) R. Allen Stanford. The title of his talk is "Maintaining Honor, Integrity and a Sense of Humor While Representing the Scum of the Earth and Others Falsely Accused." He will speak at noon in room 109 BLB, and lunch will be available after the presentation.
