The State Bar of California International Law Section has honored Professor Robert E. Lutz with the 2014 Warren M. Christopher International Lawyer of the Year Award. The award is presented to "legal practitioners who render extraordinary service to our profession in the field of international law."
Robert Lutz is Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where he teaches courses on International Business Transactions Law, International Trade Law, International Litigation and Arbitration, Public International Law, and other international legal topics.
He has served as chair of the ABA International Law Section (SIL), and chairs the SIL’s Transactional Legal Practice Committee. He is an advisor to our Center’s Project on Cross-border legal services.
