Directions from UH Parking Garage to the Law Center

Here is a link to a map of the UH Campus showing the walking route from the new parking garage to the Law Center. This is a seven to ten minute walk from the garage to Krost Hall at the Law Center.

Here is a picture tour of the drive and walk, starting from the Spur 5 exit into UH from I-45 southbound.

Take a right onto University Drive and drive west toward campus:

Getting closer but still going west on University, the stop lights in the next picture mark Calhoun Road. The parking garage is to the south (left), on the west side of Calhoun, showing behind the double-tapered-cone Leaf Column modern art in the left of the picture.

At the light, make a left onto Calhoun Road southbound. Then make a right into the parking garage on the south end of the garage (the left side of the picture below). Visitor parking is on the first two levels of the garage.

On foot, exit the north-east side of the garage. This is under the glass, box structure in the picture above. Bring your ticket with you. The human attendant working the garage is not at the Calhoun entrance/exit.

On foot, walk north on the west side of Calhoun on this sidewalk. From the north-facing vantage of the image below, the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center is directly to the right (east), across Calhoun. The first landmark is crossing University Drive as you walk north. On the horizon in this picture you can barely see the red roof of a Pizza Hut, on the other side of Calhoun. You will walk straight north on this sidewalk, under the trees, until you have the Pizza Hut on your right, and then make a left into Entrance 19 and the Law Center.

Getting closer to Entrance 19, here is the Pizza Hut across Calhoun.

Here is the last leg to Entrance 19.

Make a left at Entrance 19. The sidewalk in the picture below takes you along the south side of the Law Center.

Make a right into Lot 19B.

Cross the lot and you have arrived. Krost hall is marked by the blue and red championship banners.

When you return to the garage, the human attendant is located on the north-west corner, in the small out-building in the picture below.
