COUGARNET Account Information

Each individual is assigned an account which will allow you to access the law center network resources, and the internet. Each student is alloted a personal network share (H: drive) in which up to 200MB of data can be saved.Once you exceed this 200MB quota, you will not be able to save files until you remove some of the information, which will bring your share within the quota. This share is scanned for viruses and backed up daily by the central IT department. Your COUGARNET password will expire every 60 days. This is a security feature that is implemented campus wide with the COUGARNET domain. It will protect you and your account from data theft, or other intrusions. Every sixty days you will be required to change your password, which must be at least 6 characters, and it is case sensitive. 15 days prior to your password expiring, you will be prompted by your computer to change your password every time you log in.
