John J. Flynn, Harry First, and Darren Bush. Free enterprise and economic organization: antitrust. Seventh edition. West Academic Publishing, 2014.

KF1648.S3 2014

This casebook, coauthored by Professor Bush, presents a comprehensive approach to antitrust law and policy. Topics covered include monopolies, mergers, agreements among competitors, distribution restraints, and immunities and exemptions. The seventh edition has been updated to focus on modern antitrust issues.

Aviva Chomsky. Undocumented: how immigration became illegal. Beacon Press, 2014.

KF4800.C46 2014

In this provocative new study, the author examines the history of immigration, citizenship, and migrant labor in the United States. Rather than reducing the number of immigrants, she argues, current immigration law merely perpetuates the exploitation of migrant workers. She concludes with a look at proposed solutions, and suggests that real reform must be based on the proposition that “no human being is illegal.”
