Governing Biobanks is a study of the practical effects of laws intended to protect patient/donor rights and create and enforce ethical limitations on biobank activity.  The authors use interviews of doctors and scientists to examine the unintended consequences of UK biobank regulation, and suggest that similar issues may arise in the US if currently proposed revisions to US rules are enacted.
