JUDICIAL ACTIONS
On Aug. 18, 2000, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct issued a public reprimand against Marvin Dean Mitchell, former justice of the peace, Precinct 4, Amarillo, Potter County.
On Aug. 15, 2000, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct signed an agreed order of public censure and additional education in a disciplinary proceeding against Gualberto Weaver, a justice of the peace in Cameron County.
On April 26, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct ordered that Thomas G. Jones, justice of the peace for Precinct 7, Place 1 in Dallas County, to take eight additional hours of education with a mentor judge.

Michael Cato, 46, of Houston resigne in lieu of discipline on April 7, 2000.
DISBARMENTS
Kenneth Andrew Colton, 35, of Dallas was disbarred on April 6, 2000.
Nathan Johnson, 49, of Fort Worth was disbarred on March 27, 2000.
Yardley B. Kennedy, 44, of Houston was disbarred on May 3, 2000.
Robert Earl Gipson, 44, of Houston was disbarred On April 27, 2000.
SUSPENSIONS
Douglas W. Henager, 56, of Waco received a seven-year, partially-probated suspension effective July 1, 2000, with the first three years actively served and the remainder probated.
Roy R. Jimenez, 48, of San Antonio accepted a six-month, partially-probated suspension effective June 3, 2000, with the first month actively served and the remainder probated.
Terry W. Hesson, 52, of Breckenridge, Colo, accepted a 48-month, partially-probated suspension effective May 1, 2001, with the first 24 months actively served and the remainder probated.
Eleanor Cannon Barnes, 49, of Houston agreed to a one-year, partially-probated suspension effective July 1, 2000, with the first six months actively served and the remainder probated.
