The appeal of Joe Travis Gibson, Jr., 60, of Austin from a judgment of disbarment was dismissed on Aug. 24, 1998.

The appeal of Chester Lee Wheless, Jr., 53, of Dallas from a judgment of disbarment was dismissed on Aug. 27, 1998.

The appeal of David P. Hardaway, 51, of  Fort Worth from a judgment of disbarment was dismissed on Aug. 27, 1998.

William Michael Furman, 61, of Odessa was disbarred on Sept. 15, 1998.

Clifford Stuart Abel, 41, of Houston was disbarred on Sept. 15, 1998.
