JUDICIAL ACTIONS
Marvin Dean Mitchell (a non-attorney), was suspended, with pay, from the office of justice of the peace effective May 8, 2000.
BODA ACTIONS
On May 16, 2000, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals revoked the probation of D'Andrea Pendleton Abdullah, 42, of Richardson, suspending her for one year effective May 16.
On May 16, 2000, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals affirmed the judgment of public reprimand against Stephen D. Willey, 50, of Arlington.
REINSTATEMENTS
On April 11, 2000 the disability suspension of Frank G. Gelsone, 49, of Plano was terminated, reinstating Gelsone to the practice of law in Texas.
DISBARMENTS
Frederick L. Risker, Jr., 50, of Stafford was disbarred on Oct. 21, 1999.
SUSPENSIONS
Raymond Forrest Crooks, 58, of Fort Worth agreed to a 30-day suspension effective May 1, 2000.
Mitchell D. Hankins, 43, of Lubbock received a 12-month, partially-probated suspension effective Dec. 1, 1999, with the first month actively served and the remainder probated.
Stephen A. Hines, 53, of El Paso agreed to an eight-year, partially-probated suspension effective Dec. 1, 1999, with the first five years actively served and the remainder probated.
Hillord H. Hinson, 60, of San Jose, Costa Rica accepted a five-year suspension effective April 1, 2000
John Hogan Mason, 51, of Wichita Falls accepted a six-month, partially-probated suspension effective July 1, 1998, with the first 30 days actively served and the remainder probated.
Lenis William Pierce, III, 44, of Lindale accepted a one-year, fully-probated suspension effective April 1, 2000.
On March 23, 2000, the probation of Emilio Rodriguez, Jr., 50, of Edinburg, was revoked, suspending him for four years effective March 23.
Ronald James Shaw, 50, of San Antonio accepted a two-year, partially-probated suspension effective April 1, 2000, with the first year actively served and the remainder probated.
