BODA ACTIONS

Alice Mason Abbott, 48, of Spring pleaded guilty in the U.S. District Court on May 22 and was disbarred by the Board of Disciplinary Appeals.

Bruce Bright, 40, of Culver City, Calif was disbarred on May 27.

John B. Stevenson, 55, of Blanco was disbarred on May 22.

Beatrice E. Oliver, 44, of Houston was suspended on May 27 for 91 days beginning July 1.

Joseph Alfred Izen, Jr., 46, of Bellaire was publicly reprimanded on May 27.

Jack G. Swisher, Jr, 59, of Houston was suspended for four years beginning May 22, with the first two years actively served and the remainder probated.

Neal Y. Pickett, 59, of Houston. On May 27, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals affirmed a finding of misconduct, reversed the sanction of disbarment, and assessed an 18-month, partially-probated suspension effective June 30, 1997, with the first 12 months actively served and the remainder probated.

Charles Franzen, 68, of Houston. On May 27, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of a judgment ordering disbarment on April 28, 1997.

Charles S. Foster , 54, of Richmond was disbarred on Oct. 14, 1997. Judgment was affirmed on May 27.

Samuel L. Braunstein 56, of Fairfield, Conn was publicly reprimanded on May 8.


REINSTATEMENT

Thomas I. Pearl, 54, of Austin has petitioned for reinstatement to the State Bar of Texas.

Wilford A. Anderson, 50, of Houston accepted a one-year, fully-probated suspension effective May 1.

Tracy Dee Cluck, 36, of Dripping Springs accepted on May 28 a two-year, partially-probated suspension, with the first month actively served and the remainder probated.

Emily A. Freeman, 51, of Buffalo, N.Y accepted a two-year, fully-probated suspension effective March 26, 1997.

James Albert Henderson, 64, of Houston accepted a 12-month, fully-probated suspension effective July 15.

Rodolfo O. Hernandez, 44, of El Paso accepted a one-year, fully-probated suspension effective Feb. 1.

Hillord H. Hinson, 58, of Houston accepted a 15-month, partially-probated suspension effective July 1, with the first three months actively served and the remainder probated.
