Scott A. Shearer, 47, of Dallas was disbarred on Nov. 20, 1996.


SUSPENSIONS

Arthur L. Jackson, 55, of Harris County, received a 36-month suspension on Oct. 7, 1996.

Jerome D. Wurst, 34, of Arlington, agreed to a three-month, fully-probated suspension, effective Aug. 15, 1996.

Ronnie "Baugh" Van Baugh, 52, of Smith County, received a five-month suspension, effective Jan. 1, followed by a five-year, fully-probated suspension.

Hamilton T. Shipp, 56, of Houston, received a nine-month, fully-probated suspension, effective Sept. 1, 1996.

Martin Todd Bode, 39, of Arlington, accepted a six-month suspension, effective Nov. 15, 1996.

Larry Gene McMillion, 41, accepted a two-year, fully-probated suspension, effective Dec. 1, 1996.

Roy Emmitt Jerue, 52, of Harris County, accepted a five-year suspension, with the first three months to be actively served and the remainder probated, effective Nov. 1, 1996.

Josephine M. Patterson, 47, of Houston, for 24 months with the first 30 days to be actively served and the remaining 23 months probated.

Harry R. Heard, 60, of Gregg County, received a 24-month, fully-probated suspension, effective Dec. 1, 1996.

Richard L. Wardroup, 43, of Lubbock, received a five-year, fully-probated suspension, effective Nov. 1, 1996.

Karen M. Jenkins, 37, of Houston accepted a 30-day suspension on Nov. 5, 1996.

Matyastik Vorwerk, 52, of Taylor and Austin, for three years, with the first 120 days to be actively served and the remainder probated, effective Nov. 1, 1996.


PUBLIC REPRIMANDS

Dan R. Young, 52, of Houston, accepted a public reprimand on Nov. 20, 1996.

James F. Newth, 56, of Dallas, accepted a public reprimand on Sept. 25, 1996.

Calixtro Villarreal, Jr., 29, of Rio Grande City, accepted a public reprimand On Dec. 2, 1996.

Joe Edward Shumate, 35, of Rusk County, agreed to a public reprimand on Nov. 13, 1996.


REINSTATEMENTS

John D. Byers, 68, of Yantis is eligible for reinstatement of his Texas law license contingent upon his meeting and fulfilling all of the requirements and procedures set out in the Rules Governing Admission to the Bar of Texas applicable to the examination and admission of persons who have not previously been licensed as attorneys in Texas or any other state.

Jacob Daniel Davis, 57, formerly of Dallas, now of Austin, has filed a petition for reinstatement
