REINSTATEMENT

 

James R. Alexander, 65, of Lubbock has petitioned the 72nd District Court for reinstatement as a member of the State Bar of Texas.

 

BODA ACTIONS

 

On Oct. 27, 2004, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed an agreed judgment of indefinite disability suspension against Donald H. Brandt, Jr., 55, of Richardson.

 

On Dec. 8, 2004, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals revoked the probation of Ronald G. Mock, 58, of Houston and suspended him from the practice of law for 35 months, effective Dec. 8, 2004. 

 

On Dec. 7, 2004, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals affirmed the judgment of partially-probated suspension against Karen Key Johnson, 49, of Austin dated April 29, 2004, from the evidentiary panel for the District 9-A Grievance Committee. 

 

On Dec. 22, 2004, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals granted a joint motion to reverse and remand for rendition entry of an agreed judgment in an evidentiary appeal by Walter Andrew Ladyman, 50, of Abilene. 

 

DISBARMENT

 

On Sept. 20, 2004, Jeffrey J. Sapyta, 46, of San Antonio was disbarred by the District 10-B Grievance Committee. 

 

On Sept. 13, 2004, William L. Lyons, 55, of Austin, was disbarred by the 261st District Court of Travis County. 

 

SUSPENSIONS

 

On Nov. 12, 2004, Jerry Michael Pittman, 54, of Dallas accepted a three-month, fully-probated suspension, effective Jan. 1, 2005 from the District 6-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Nov. 4, 2004, Stephen T. Newlin, 47, of Houston accepted a two-year, partially-probated suspension effective Dec. 1, 2004, with the first six months actively served and the remainder probated from the 234th District Court of Harris County. 

 

On June 10, 2004, Sylvia Reyes, 62, of Dallas received a default judgment of a two-year, partially-probated suspension effective July 5, 2004, with the first three months actively served and the remainder probated from the District 6-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Nov. 15, 2004, Stephen G. Kennedy, 47, of San Antonio received a one-year, active suspension effective Dec. 1, 2004 from the 225th District Court of Bexar County. 

 

On Oct. 28, 2004, Beth Fielding Siever, 54, of Austin received a four-year, partially probated suspension effective Oct. 28, 2004, with the first year actively served and the remainder probated from the District 9-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Sept. 15, 2004, Matthew W. Johnson, 34, of Houston received a 60-month, partially-probated suspension effective Oct. 15, 2004, with the first none months actively served and the remainder probated from the District 4-H Grievance Committee.

 

On Nov. 4, 2004, Linda Irene Perez, 45, of San Antonio received a five-year, partially probated suspension effective Nov. 15, 2004, with the first two years actively served and the remainder probated from the District 10-B Grievance Committee. 

 

PUBLIC REPRIMANDS

 

On Sept. 20, 2004, John Manicom, 42, of Bellaire, accepted a public reprimand from the District 12-B Grievance Committee.

 

On Sept. 21, 2004, Vincent C. Ndukwe, 36, of Dallas accepted a public reprimand from the District 6-A Grievance Committee.

 

On Nov. 11, 2004, Mike G. Hernandez, 58, of Houston accepted a public reprimand from the District 4-H Grievance Committee.

 

On Nov. 4, 2004, Cornelius A. Long, 56, of Houston accepted a public reprimand from the District 4-D Grievance Committee. 

 

On Nov. 17, 2004, Melvin R. Nowlin, Jr., 49, of Houston accepted a public reprimand from the District 4-B Grievance Committee.
