BODA ACTIONS

On March 1. the Board of Disciplinary Appeals suspended William F. Bell, 45, of Houston.

On March 18, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals disbarred J. Brent Liedtke, 50, of Houston.

On Feb. 11, 2002, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed an agreed judgment of indefinite disability suspension against Dallas attorney William N. Bret III, 49, in accordance with Part XII of the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure and Section 8 of the Internal Procedural Rules of the Board of Disciplinary Appeals.

On Feb. 13, 2002, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed an agreed judgment of indefinite disability suspension against Round Rock attorney Tracye Nicole Shaw, 28, in accordance with Part XII of the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure and Section 8 of the Internal Procedural Rules of the Board of Disciplinary Appeals.

On Feb. 13, 2002, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed an agreed judgment of indefinite disability suspension against Richardson attorney Philip Lee Reynolds, 34, in accordance with Part XII of the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure and Section 8 of the Internal Procedural Rules of the Board of Disciplinary Appeals.

On April 3, 2002, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed a judgment of indefinite disability suspension against Beaumont attorney Jeffrey L. Thomas , 35, in accordance with Part XII of the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure and Section 8 of the Internal Procedural Rules of the Board of Disciplinary Appeals.

On Jan. 23, 2002, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal by Lancaster attorney Minor E. Pounds, 67, of a default judgment of disbarment issued by an evidentiary panel of the District 6-A grievance committee on June 14, 2001.

On March 7, 2002, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals affirmed the public reprimand against Corpus Christi attorney Ricardo H. Silvas, 50, signed by an evidentiary panel of the District 11-A Grievance Committee on Aug. 20, 2001.

On March 7, 2002, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals reversed the order of dismissal signed Aug. 13, 2001, and the first amended findings of fact signed Sept. 5, 2001, by an evidentiary panel of the District 10-A Grievance Committee in a case against San Antonio attorney Leslie J.A. Sachanowicz, 44, and remanded the case to the District 10-A grievance committee for a new evidentiary hearing.

RESIGNATIONS

On Dec. 10, 2001, Frederick A. Pastor, 58, of Lewisville accepted a resignation in lieu of discipline.

DISBARMENTS

On Jan. 3, an evidentiary panel of the District 10-B Grievance Committee disbarred Lisa Ann Nutt, 41, of San Antonio.

SUSPENSIONS

On Feb. 15, Scottie Allen, 42, of Dallas received a 12-month, fully-probated suspension effective Feb. 1.

On Feb. 7, Eric B. Lackshin, 37, of Houston received a one-year, fully-probated suspension effective Feb. 15.
