L. Gibson. Electing judges: the
surprising effects of campaigning on judicial legitimacy. University of
Chicago Press, 2012. KF8776.G538

Jane
Kaye, et al. Governing biobanks: understanding the interplay between law and
practice. Hart Pub., 2012. K3611.H86G68
2012 Governing Biobanks is a study of the practical effects of laws intended
to protect patient/donor rights and create and enforce ethical limitations on
biobank activity.
The authors use interviews of doctors and scientists to examine the
unintended consequences of UK biobank regulation,
and suggest that similar issues may arise in the US if currently proposed
revisions to US rules are enacted. |
