The author focuses on “uncorporations” such as general and limited partnerships and limited liability companies, and
discusses their emergence as the dominant business structure for
non-publicly-traded firms. Furthermore, the book provides an overview
of the alternatives to incorporation and the evolution of these firms, as
well as an analysis of future trends in business organization. |

of mass violence adopted under international law by states in moments of
transition or social unrest. The author provides a framework for
resolving amnesty dilemmas when they arise, arguing that amnesties can be
defensible in the context of mass violence when adopted as a last
recourse. The book also offers guidance about how to ensure that
amnesties extend the minimum leniency possible, while imposing the maximum
accountability on the beneficiaries. |
