TRAC

TRAC (Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse), a.k.a. TRACFED, is a data gathering, data research, and data distribution research center at Syracuse University.

TRAC systematically and strategically obtains data, much through FOIA requests, and processes the data to provide analytical reports on staffing, spending, and enforcement activities of the federal government. TRAC also has powerful tools for extraction of data from the databases of U.S. agency information. With a regularly maintained data warehouse, it currently features websites on DHS, FBI, IRS, DEA, ATF, and immigration.

Patrons can access TRAC through the law library's web site at http://www.law.uh.edu/libraries/ by selecting "TRAC" from the drop down menu under legal databases. Please contact the library if you have any questions about any of the library's databases.
