Convenient indexes are included for each major area as well as a split screen feature that allow for browsing. Sophisticated searching allows for one to search the portfolios and other materials simultaneously. The portfolios are updated frequently giving them an advantage over their print counterparts.
This database provides access to the primary tax sources such as the International Revenue Code, U.S. Treasury Regulations, and federal tax cases. It also includes IRS documents such as revenue rulings, procedure, forms, publications, notices and announcements. Daily Tax Report consists of highlights from the Daily Tax Report. The News and Commentary section includes the online versions of Weekly Report and Tax Management Memorandum, insights and commentary from tax experts as well as a variety of journals.
The BNA Tax and Accounting Center can be accessed through the library's website at http://www.law.uh.edu/libraries/ by selecting "Bureau of National Affairs (BNA) databases" from the drop-down menu under legal databases.
