The
JSTOR journal database includes scholarly journals that cover
a variety of subjects, including some law journals. JSTOR
provides PDF and TIFF versions of all the articles in its
database.
The
JSTOR database is similar to the Hein Online database, but
the JSTOR database includes journals on a wide variety of
subjects while the Hein Online database only includes law
journals.
Like
Hein Online, the JSTOR database doesn’t include the
current issues of its journals. The most current issues of
the journals in the JSTOR databases are usually one to five
years old.
Patrons
can either browse or search the JSTOR journal collection.
JSTOR’s basic search feature allows patrons to search
the database by keyword. JSTOR’s advanced search feature
allows patrons to limit their searches by journal, article
title, author, date, and subject matter.
The
JSTOR journal database can be accessed through the library's
Indexes and Databases page.
Please
contact the library if you have any questions about any of
the library's databases.
