Bar Loans (posted 02/27/2017)
Bar Loans are available to law students who are in their final year of study and need resources to help finance expenses associated with studying for the Bar examination. Bar loans are credit based private loans. You can review the lenders that offer bar loans at http://www.law.uh.edu/financialaid/faprograms.asp. Scroll down towards the bottom of the page and click on to ‘BAR LOANS’. This will take you to another website. On the drop down menu click on ‘BAR’. You can review the lenders and their offers to see what the best loan is for you. Be sure to review the terms and condition of each loan. Apply on line and the funds will be sent directly to you.
If the lender requires school certification of the anticipated graduation date, be sure to notify Laura Neal.
