rankings, the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy is among the
top ten journals in the country in the category of Health, Medicine,

trend for the journal since it was established in 2001. The Washington
& Lee rankings examine health law related journals worldwide and
rank according to several factors discussed on their website.
In the Washington & Lee ranking of Health,
Medicine, Psychology, and Psychiatry journals, we ranked first in 'currency factor."
This factor aims to compare journals on how rapidly their articles
become cited. Based on "impact factor," which is a ratio
of the number of times other journals cite to our journal compared with
the number of articles published in a ranking period, the Houston
Journal of Health Law & Policy is second,
behind only the Yale Journal of Health Policy, Law, and Ethics. The
rankings can be
found at http://lawlib.wlu.edu/LJ/index.aspx.
The Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy is
affiliated with the University’s of Houston’s Health Law and Policy
