The Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy, or HJHLP, is committed to providing a scholarly forum for the interdisciplinary exploration of the full range of issues in health law and policy. We are dedicated to publishing the nation's preeminent journal devoted exclusively to health law and policy issues. The Journal publishes two issues of professional and student-authored pieces each year. The symposium issue focuses on an emerging and important issue in health care law and policy. The Journal's fall issue includes professional articles on a variety of topics, as well as student articles. In addition, prospective authors will find that the student editors of the Journal are professional, knowledgeable, and sensitive to the need for timely publication. Many of the student editors are also health care professionals, holding degrees of M.D., M.P.H., R.N., and licensed professional counselors.
