Actionbioscience
ActionBioscience.org is an education resource of the American Institute of Biological Sciences, aiming to promote literacy. The site provides peer-reviewed articles on issues related to seven bioscience challenges: environment, biodiversity, genomics, biotechnology, evolution, new frontiers in science, and bioscience education. In addition, the web site provides educators with original lessons and other resources to enhance bioscience teaching. Select articles are translated into Spanish. The site was chosen as the 2003 best biology site by Scientific American and the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse of the U.S. Dept. of Education honored it with the Digital Dozen Award for quality content in 2002.
