Houston Area Network of Documents Information
HANDI is a group of Houston area depository libraries. We are
the librarians and support staff responsible for the United States
and Texas depository collections. We began meeting in March, 1990,
and get together several times a year to share information, discuss
issues affecting delivery of government information services to
the public, and to propose actions on various matters affecting
management and public access to federal and state government publications.
We frequently communicate with each other in order to assist our
library users with their government information needs.
This HANDI web site is part of our ongoing public service assistance.
