Your gift can directly impact the success of our students, faculty and Law Center as a whole. Consider making a gift of cash, stocks, real estate or a bequest to support scholarships, pipeline programs, faculty, clinics, the law fund, or even the new law center building. Every gift is appreciated and we are happy to help you find an opportunity that fits your philanthropic goals.
There are many ways to make a gift to Houston Law.
A leader in energy, health, and international trade, Houston has been called an American City of the Future. The UH Law Center is nationally recognized in health, intellectual property, and energy and environmental law, creating a hub of professional excellence that fosters Houston's transformation into a global powerhouse. Yet, its success is constrained by its 50 year old building.
To capture the natural advantages of being located in Houston, the new building will be structured as a true center for cross-disciplinary education and scholarship. Modern technology and flexible space will enhance student learning and faculty expertise by bringing industry leaders to the UHLC– increasing its economic, policy, and social impact across the region and globe. The new building design will be accessible to the broader community, empowering the public to access legal support through the clinics and educational resources. Most importantly, the new facility will provide the catalyst for the UH Law Center to move into the upper echelon of law schools in the nation.
Help us meet the challenge of raising $10,000,000 by January 1, 2019 to make the Law Center's new building a priority for the UH System's legislative requests in 2019. We need your support.
