B.A., Northwestern; J.D., Northwestern; Ph.D., Northwestern Professor Sanders received his J.D. from Northwestern University in 1969 and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Northwestern in 1974. A member of the Law Center¿s faculty since 1983, Professor Sanders is one of the leading experts in the United States on sociological studies of the law. In particular, his writings in the field of tort law, especially on the mass tort cases have brought considerable attention to his scholarship.
