An updated detailed classplan is posted here. It lays out the four main sections of the course and the approximate timeframe of classes for each.

The materials to the left shown with links are updated for the Fall 2010 course.

The casebook for the course is: Mueller & Kirkpatrick, Evidence Under the Rules, 6th Ed. (Aspen). Supplemental class materials are posted here and may be augmented as the semester progresses.

Those students wishing to use a textbook might try McCormick On Evidence (Student Edition). I find it the easiest to understand,

As detailed in the classplan, students will vote on whether to have two multiple-choice quizzes spaced through the semester. The quizzes in the aggregate will count for 10% of your final grade.

The Federal Rules of Evidence (posted on the left here) form the backbone of the course and should be brought in paper form to each class. The Texas Rules of Evidence (also posted here) are relevant to some topics but need not be brought to class unless I so advise you in advance.
