A detailed classplan is included in the materials posted here. It lays out the four main sections of the course and the approximate timeframe of classes for each. The casebook for the course is: Mueller & Kirkpatrick, Evidence Under the Rules, 6th Ed. (Aspen). Supplemental materials are posted here and may be augmented as the semester progresses. As detailed in the classplan, there will be three multiple-choice quizzes spaced through the semester. The quizzes in the aggregate will count for 10% of your final grade. The Federal Rules of Evidence (posted on the left here) form the backbone of the course and should be brought in paper form to each class. The Texas Rules of Evidence (also posted here) are relevant to some topics but need not be brought to class unless I so advise you in advance.
