Brigham Daniels comes to the Law Center from Duke University, where he was a PhD student studying environmental policy and political economics. He earned a J.D. from Stanford Law School, and at Stanford worked on the Stanford Law Review. He also received an M.P.A. and undergraduate degree from the University of Utah. He is National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and a recipient of the Harry S. Truman Scholarship.

At Duke, he headed a state climate policy project for Duke Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and was a lecturing fellow at Duke Law School. As a consultant, he has advised a wide range of clients on environmental matters including law firms, state and local governments, and a number of public policy think tanks. Before attending Duke, he clerked for the Honorable Brian Theodore Stewart, Utah Federal District Court and worked for a law firm in Salt Lake City.

His areas of study include environmental and natural resources law and policy, property, and political economy.
