Franklin  Bynum


Franklin G. Bynum is a graduate of the University of Southern California Law School. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin. In September of 2012, he graduated from the Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, New York, and New Jersey.

He is a member the board of directors of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association (HCCLA). In 2011, he was named HCCLA’s “Member of the Year” for his contributions to the organization.

He often litigates issues involving immigrants. He lectures to local bar groups regularly on immigration law and enforcement in the context of criminal cases. He authored an article on immigration enforcement in the Harris County Jail that was published in The Defender in 2010. He is a member of the National Lawyers Guild’s National Immigration Project.
