Kevin Dubose
Alexander Dubose Jones & Townsend
Kevin Dubose is an appellate lawyer and Coordinating Partner of the premier appellate boutique in Texas, Alexander Dubose Jones & Townsend, LLP. He has served as Chair of the Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas, Chair of the Appellate Section of the Houston Bar Association, and Director of Appellate Advocacy at the University of Houston Law Center. He continues to serve as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston, and is a frequent author and speaker on the Continuing Legal Education Circuit. The Texas Super Lawyer publication has recognized him as a Super Lawyer in civil appellate lawyer every year that the designation has existed, and in 2007 named Kevin as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Texas.
Kevin has held numerous leadership positions at St. Marks United Methodist Church, Boy Scout Troop 924, and Carnegie Vanguard High School PTO.
Kevin is the devoted husband of the wonderful Glenda Owen, DDS, and the proud father and best friend of two incredible sons, Travis, a mechanical engineer in Palo Alto, California, and Ryan a student at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. He and his family enjoy traveling together, preferably to places with hiking trails and fine restaurants. They are all fans of all types of music, movies, and, of course, live theater.
Kevin grew up in Beaumont and Houston, graduated from Rice University and UT Law School, and has lived in a now-100-year-old house in the Heights for almost all of his adult life.
