TOPIC:                                 Clean Air Act Update

Please join us for an update on Clean Air Act issues, including source aggregation, greenhouse gases, the National Ambient Air Quality Standards, enforcement and more!  Our panel will include two outstanding attorneys with a wealth of air experience and knowledge – Eddie Lewis from Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. and Matt Paulson from Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.

Eddie Lewis, who joined the firm in 1993, is a partner in Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.'s Houston office. He focuses his practice in the environmental law area, including environmental litigation, enforcement, compliance counseling, remediation, permitting, auditing, and transactional matters. He is also Co-Chair of Fulbright's Climate Change Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm, Eddie worked as a chemical engineer. His practice frequently involves legal issues in which complex technical issues are at the forefront.

Matt Paulson is a partner in the Austin office of the law firm of Katten Muchin Rosenman, LLP and leads the firm’s Environmental Aspects of Energy Production Practice. He represents companies and trade organizations in the areas of environmental compliance, permitting, investigation, enforcement, litigation and crisis response.  Working closely with state and national trade associations, Mr. Paulson also advises clients on legislation, litigation and regulation affecting greenhouse gas emissions.

Networking and registration is from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm. Lunch and the presentation will begin promptly at noon.  Valet parking is available at a cost of $7.00.   Public Transportation is available.  Nearest MetroRail Station: Bell.
