2013-2014 Financial Aid Awards (posted 04/24/2013)

Email award notices started going out on April 17, 2013. Central campus will continue to award on a rolling basis throughout summer and into fall.

To be awarded, you must have filed a 2013-2014 renewal FAFSA.

If your award does not cover your cost of attendance, you can cover the shortage with a grad plus loan (recommended) or a private loan after June 1, 2013. Apply for a Grad Plus at www.studentloans.gov. The loan period for fall 2013-spring 2014 will be August 2013 thru May 2014. A fall only loan will have an August 2013 thru December 2013 loan period.

It is too early to apply for either of these loans. Please wait until after June 1, 2013 to apply. Once credit approved, email Laura Neal your name and PeopleSoft ID stating you have been credit approval so the loan can be awarded. If you apply earlier than June 1, the credit could expire before the loan is processed.

Merit scholarships will not post as part of your financial aid award in PeopleSoft until late May or early June.
