Professor Michael A. Olivas seeks a Research Assistant for Summer, 2013 and or/Fall, 2013, for supervised academic credit, to assist with national immigration research project on benefits available to undocumented persons and DACA recipients, including careful notation of state statutes and regulations on professional certification requirements (such as teaching and other educational licenses, medical personnel, and lawyer admissions.) Preferred: immigration coursework or clinic experience and eligibility for appropriate academic semester hour credit. Must be able to self-pace and work carefully and independently.
